Another hit event for Women in Tech Hampshire as Adriana, Eleanor and Claire share their insights

Women in Tech Hampshire held their second event last week at the Axis Conference Centre in Chilworth, with another great turnout from across the tech spectrum.
Guests included university students, recent graduates, those just starting their tech careers, and industry veterans of 20 years plus.
Speaking at the event were Claire Goodall, diversity and inclusion lead at Fareham’s STEM Returners, as well as Adriana Wilde, electronics and computer science lecturer at the University of Southampton.
Adriana is a tech returner herself, so her talk paired nicely with the stories shared by Claire of other women who have successfully restarted a career in STEM.
They were also joined by Eleanor Dearman, solution engineer at VMWare by Broadcom, who discussed apprenticeships and her own route into the industry.
Organised by Lauren James and Amy Lee of Spectrum IT, Women in Tech Hampshire is a group for like-minded people to learn together and network.
They hosted their inaugural event this January for more than 50 attendees.
