Avondale to Hold Inaugural Green Business Summit

April is Earth Month, and the City of Avondale is celebrating by going green(er)!

While Avondale has long embraced green business practices, such as offering a Green Business Program, the city is taking it a step further by hosting its first-ever Green Business Summit.

The event will be hosted on Wednesday, April 24 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Avondale Visitor & Conference Center (11490 W. Civic Center Dr., Avondale, AZ 85323).

The Green Business Summit is for current Avondale business owners, as well as those seeking to locate their business in Avondale.

This summit is also for both the seasoned eco-conscious entrepreneur and those just starting to explore green practices.

From small businesses to larger corporations, participating businesses will learn how to make their business more sustainable and environmentally friendly, while connecting with like-minded individuals.

This event will also be offered virtually for those not able to come in person. Registration is required; no cost to attend.
