Biden, Democrats highlight anniversary of abortion decision

President Biden and fellow Democrats are staging events across the country Monday as they seek to leverage the second anniversary of the Supreme Court decision that overturned the federal legal right to an abortion. Democrats are convinced that reproductive rights will be an issue that helps them up and down the ballot in November. In a statement Monday, Biden blamed former president Donald Trump for appointing conservative justices who “ripped away the fundamental freedom for women to access the health care they need and deserve.”
