Campaign vs cervical cancer intensified

TACLOBAN CITY — A senior official of the Department of Health Regional Office 8 (DoH-8) encouraged the public to take advantage of the free cervical screening since it emphasizes the importance of women’s health and seeks to empower women to take proactive efforts to maintain their well-being.

Speaking in a public forum on Tuesday, DoH-8 Regional Director Exuperia Sabalberino said that free cervical screening is one of the department’s services, which Eastern Visayas women value.
