Feline Fiesta Festivities: Animal Humane’s Cat-Focused Fundraiser

Feline Fiesta Festivities. Animal Humane New Mexico‘s annual Feline Fiesta is days away. Just like in years past, there are a ton of fun events to take part in and it all caps off with a feline film festival.

The Feline Fiesta is Animal Humane’s cat-focused fundraiser that happens every June. Multiple events like Wine and Whiskers on June 1, Kitten Yoga on June 7 and 12, and the Feline Film Festival on June 15 will occur.

Animal Humane’s adoptable pet of the week is Hazel. She’s around one-and-a-half years old and a cattle dog mix. Hazel is just shy of 50 pounds and very well-mannered. She knows how to sit and is housebroken. She would do best in an environment where she wouldn’t be around small prey animals but gets along with other dogs and all people. Hazel is currently available at Animal Humane’s Petsmart Every Day Adoption Center off of Eubank. They’re open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
