Play Media Day 03 presents three panel discussions which, according to the organizers, will attract the attention of visitors to the regional communication event, which will be held on June 08 in Banja Luka!

The panel “Game of Thrones – a media phenomenon” will reveal to the attendees what makes this series so attractive. Although “Game of Thrones” is in fact largely a reflection of it, the charm of this series lies elsewhere. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn everything about the phenomenon of “Game of Thrones”, the reason why the author of the book, George RR Martin, decided to interpret the Middle Ages in his capital work, about the metaphors and ideas that, through the series from the domain of popular culture, are marketed to the public , about the attitude of the participants towards the text template and its adaptation for small screens and many other interesting things. Panel participants are: Monika Ponjavić, film and TV critic, Branislav Predojević, journalist, Dejan Matijević, psychologist, and Đorđe Mandrapa, architect and expert in historical reconstruction.

This year’s event will include two more attractive panels. One of them will host successful influencers of the region, while the other will present successful women in leading positions in the creative industry!

In the age of digital media and social networks, it is believed that the audience trusts the content of influencers more than traditional advertisers. The phenomenon of this form of promotion and marketing breaks all traditional rules of communication and the role of influencers becomes more and more relevant.

The well-known blogger and journalist from Belgrade Branislava Antović will moderate the panel “The Power of Like” which will consist of Erna Saljević, better known in the online world as “Diva is Back” from Sarajevo, Milan Vučićević who has been present on social networks for many years under the pseudonym “Nichim Izazvan” from Belgrade, Nataša Gardašević, who in a short period built her brand “Njezvanova”, from Podgorica, but also Petra Mamić, the popular “Skitnica” from Bjelovar. The influencers will reveal to the attendees how much this type of popularity and earnings brought them benefits, as well as how difficult it was to build their own brand, but also to offer quality cooperation to potential clients.

Attendees will also find out whether well-known influencers can only deal with this business or whether this type of communication serves them as an additional source of income. The need for brands to engage influencers, current trends, but also the future of this type of promotion, as well as whether influencer work has become a new occupation, will also be discussed.

The third, but no less important panel will consist of some of the most influential women in leading positions in the creative industries of the region.

The creative director of the Play Team agency and the director of the Play Media Day program, Dijana Tepšić, will moderate the panel “Women in leading positions in the creative industry”, which will consist of five successful women, who had a vision and achieved great success in the agencies they lead.

Sara Mekinc – Pristop, Ljubljana, Jana Savić Rastovac – McCann, Belgrade, Sanja Đekić – Mediacom CE, Zagreb, Anita Todorović – Whole In One Communications, Belgrade, together with Dijana Tepšić will discuss the challenges these successful women went through on their way to personal and professional success. It will reveal to us how challenging it is to be a woman in a leading position.

Next to the IT industry, the creative industry is the fastest growing industry in the world. The panelists will also discuss what influence women have on the development of the creative industry.

There is still a little more than a month left until the regional communication event Play Media Day 03, which will be held on June 08 in Banja Luka, in the unique space of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the RS.
