Women in Leadership to look at both sides of mentorship – The Brock News
Caroline Hummell’s passion for mentorship began on the basketball court.
As an Applied Health Sciences PhD student, she now studies mentorship, program evaluation and positive youth development in the sport and recreation sector.
The accomplished athlete and academic has a genuine desire to help women and girls achieve their potential. At the next Women in Leadership meeting, she will tell her story, explain why she feels mentorship is so important for women and girls, and share the lessons from her experiences and research.
Hummell, who led the development of and continues to co-ordinate the Deborah Rosati Women in Leadership Mentorship Program, says she’s also looking forward to “highlighting some success stories from the first two cohorts.”
Hummell’s presentation will take place Wednesday, July 10 from noon to 1 p.m. on Microsoft Teams.
